Our client is a
multinational company in the automotive industry. The company is looking for an
Optical Engineering Coordinator to their Engineering Center in Oliveira de
Azeméis, Portugal.
Job
description:
- Developing optical
systems from inquiry phase to series production in automotive industry, mainly
signalling functions;
- Defining design and
technical guidelines for optical engineers;
- Coordination of working
tasks between design and optical engineering;
- Creation of innovation
in cooperation with universities.
Requirements:
- Experience and
knowledge in optical engineering;
- Very good knowledge in
optical and physics basics (reflection, refraction, light guides) and a
university degree in one of those areas;
- Good knowledge in
simulation tools (LucidShape, Speos) and CAD software (Creo or CATIA);
- Good Knowledge of
specific regulations (ECE, SAE, CCC);
- Solid knowledge of
written and spoken English.
