Responsibilities Include:
- Gather, cleanse, merge, transform,
automate and analyze large volumes of structured, semi-structured and
unstructured data;
- Design and implement data
warehouses, ETL pipelines, and batch processing of data to support auditing,
analytics and reporting needs;
- Define, develop and implement
metrics to track and report progress and trends on data architecture, content,
quality and engineering;
- Build and maintain internal
infrastructure including data auditing, processing and visualization tools;
- Provide support for data requests
from internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Information Systems, or in a related field such as
Mathematics, Statistics;
- Deep understanding in applied
Statistics and Math;
- Comfortable programming in R:
(data.table, dplyr, DBI, ODBC, shiny, Rmarkdown, ggplot2, plotly, IRanges) and Python
(pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, jupyter notebooks). Can flex between
the two languages;
- Work comfortably in a Linux
environment;
- Familiar with network protocols and
computer network concepts enough to apply them on a daily basis to debug and
propose solutions to connectivity issues;
- Should have full
professional proficiency in English.
